The Mesquite Heart Board is so pleased with the success our 7th Annual Gala promoting heart health and supporting our neighbors. With your help, Mesquite Heart Board will continue to support community access to automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and provide CPR/AED education throughout the Mesquite community. We can work collaboratively to make a difference by educating our neighbors on heart disease and stroke.

Thanks to our generous 2026 sponsors and donors, we've already identified three AED Grant recipients and provided three CPR/AED certification courses this year!

As we begin preparations for next year’s event, we hope you will continue to reach out with requests for information, courses, and grant applications, as well as donations. Although our annual fundraiser necessitates the allocation of a portion of the funds raised, we are a nonprofit organization with no paid employees. Consequently, any donations received throughout the year are directed towards community education and AED grants. 

 

We recognize that our Mesquite police officers are trained in CPR but do not have direct access to the next level in heart related rescue, defibrillation using an AED. Early defibrillation can double the chance of survival in the event of cardiac arrest in the community. This reflects the Mesquite Heart Board's goal to place an AED in each Mesquite police cruiser. In 2025, we placed 13 AEDs with the officers and we have a long way to go so we continue to depend on your generosity.
